Get ready for an early (and long) winter.

Here is how to prepare for an early (and long) Winter....

Cut any nonsense out of your expenses—both personal and business. If you're overspending on either, now is the time to cut it. I recommend that you cut 20% of your expenses if possible. I'm working on cutting mine too.

Talk to more people. If you can cut nonsense out of your budget and add it into marketing, that's a double win. I'm talking to people all over the place who are cutting their marketing spend. If you have a lead source that is making a positive ROI, consider expanding it.

You might be on a team like ours where we just added 250+ new leads per month that are direct phone calls to our agents. And another 450 leads who are in research mode.

If you were on my team, I'd be telling you to answer the phone more and take more leads.

Make more educational content for your database + social. Be the knowledge broker. You have time to make content. SHOW what you do for your clients. Share what you're seeing in the market. It's changing fast, be the lighthouse of truth so that you can cut through the noise in the market.

Educate yourself on what's happening outside of real estate. I hate watching the news, I think it's total garbage. But... consumers watch the news. People read headlines. I recommend you consume at least 15 - 30 minutes a day of what is actually going on in the world. It's easy to get lost in the day-to-day.

At the end of the day, we need to be talking to as many people as possible.

Now is the time to lean in and generate leads. Over the next 90 days, we'll see the most transactions happen all year.
