It’s okay to be a salesperson

Shortcutting is costing you more than you think.

Fast Value: Instead of trying to get rich quick. Get rich for sure. Don’t forget to make your first $X00k on your road to making $Xm. (insert your own numbers).

I see soooo many agents trying to recreate the wheel when they’re struggling.

This might be a harsh reality… but I’m going to share it anyway.

You are a salesperson.

The job of a salesperson is rather monotonous. Meaning it is incredibly repetitive.

You have the same conversation over and over and over.

The more you do it, the better you get at it.

Meaning….

The more reps you do, the better you get and the more money you make.

If you’re stuck making less than $100k, here is your permission to just be a salesperson.

You don’t need to build your brand. You don’t need to create a new lead source. None of that.

You need to…
– Get leads (5 per week)
– Follow a sales process to convert
– Work
– Allow time to work also

Quick story: Going from $0 – $100k is the hardest. The reason is because we make so much per deal.
10 deals = $100k. (at least)

However, the work you need to do to do 10 deals really isn’t that much. You can get away with being a bit inconsistent and still hit that number.

But….

My business completely changed when I started thinking bigger. When you start trying to do 3-4 deals per month, everything becomes more consistent.

So. Get to $100k the old fashioned way. Like a salesperson.

Once you get over $100k. The next $100k.. $200k.. $500k.. are SO much easier to add.

THEN you can start treating your career like a business.
