San Clemente

San Clemente is a medium-sized coastal city in beautiful Orange County, California. It is approximately the 130th largest community in the state and features about a dozen unique neighborhoods. Nestled between Los Angeles and San Diego, this bustling community is the southernmost community in the county. In 2017, the estimated median household income in San Clemente was $101,743, and the estimated per capita income was around $54,619. In the same year, the thriving city had estimated median house or condo values of $894,500, a mean price on all housing units of over $1,000,000, and a median gross rent of $1,830 monthly. The area that would one day be San Clemente was basically uninhabited when the Spaniards colonized the area beginning in 1776. Father Junipero Serra established the Mission San Juan Capistrano and began to try and convert the native tribes of the surrounding areas. A community didn’t really get started in the area until around 1925. But it was officially incorporated rather quickly, by the end of February in 1928. The historic San Clemente pier was constructed the same year. The city features beautiful beaches, the historic pier, and many historic buildings. Today the thriving urban city is warm welcoming and the epitome of California living.
